The Mindray 6800‑30‑50137 ETCO₂ Module (V1.0) is a sidestream CO₂ monitoring module designed as an add‑on for Mindray’s DPM6 or DPM7 patient monitors. Sidestream technology means a small portion of the patient’s exhaled gas is continuously drawn through a sampling tube into the sensor module, so that the monitor can measure the concentration of carbon dioxide (both end‑tidal CO₂ levels and respiratory rate via the CO₂ waveform). Because it’s an external module, facilities can add or remove it as needed depending on patient monitoring requirements.
Clinically, this module is useful in a variety of settings: operating rooms, procedural sedation, recovery rooms, intensive care units, and anywhere respiratory status must be closely tracked.
